If you have more than 2 year’s experience in IT infrastructure and support we would like to hear from you. Candidates must have proven experience supporting Microsoft server environments and have demonstrable experience in Microsoft Office 365.

You will be joining a professional office environment at Cookstown in a role where you will have a good level of variety.  The role is Full Time, 8:30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (40hrs).

The successful candidate will provide 1st & 2nd line IT support and troubleshoot challenging queries for the clients. You will take problem ownership with clear, concise, customer communication whilst managing expectations.

Responsibilities include:
·     Excellent customer service skills
·     Taking calls and troubleshooting IT issues and problems
·     Supporting clients via Phone, remote access & onsite visits
·     Using PSA & RMM tools such as Connectwise Manage, Automate or similar
·     Work through the service board, prioritise and resolve the issues via email, phone or remote connection
·     Thoroughly documenting all changes to existing and new equipment
·     Assist with the installation of servers and mobile devices
·     Assist with the repair of any Endpoints that are brought to the workshop for repair
·     Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management
·     From time to time as the business requires it; you will be required to perform scheduled and ad-hoc out of hours work (weekend and evenings) for major upgrades, system relocation and moves. The position will involve travel between various client sites throughout Northern Ireland, with the possibility of travel to UK mainland and Ireland.
·     Carry out any other reasonable duty that may be requested by Management

Essential Criteria:
·     Minimum of two years commercial experience in a similar IT managed services role supporting SME’s
·     Experience of developing long-term relationships with new and existing customers
·     Excellent knowledge of Windows OS & Microsoft Office suites
·     Excellent knowledge of using Windows Server 2008 through to 2016
·     Excellent Knowledge of using AD/GPO/DNS/DHCP/LDAP/OSI
·     Valid driving licence
·     Strong analytical skills with proven problem-solving ability
·     Proven ability to operate in high-pressure situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities and possess a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism
·     Ability to develop clear and concise documentation
·     Demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology
·      Office 365 – Experience of installation, configuration, migration and administration

Desirable Criteria:
·     An MCP/MCSE/MCITP/MCSA qualification
·     Experience setting up and administering Microsoft Hyper-V
·     Experience using or troubleshooting onsite and remote backup including DR
·     Experience in physical networks and managed wireless solutions
·     Experience setting up and troubleshooting VLANs
·     Experience in site-to-site data replication
·      Experience of DNS Records
